What You Will Explore

A Holistic Restorative Approach includes these interdependent approaches:

Restorative ApproachesA Whole School Approach

A whole school restorative approach is more than just changing the way we respond to harm. It is creating a culture and community where all members feel the safety, respect, belonging and voice needed to learn, engage in difficult conversations, and grow as a human being. Here from schools at different stages of this work, share their successes and challenges.

Youth-Adult PartnershipTransforming Schools Together

The best way to engage youth is to partner with them. The restorative approach is based on a theory that we thrive when things are done with us, versus to us or for us. Youth-Adult partnership is central to school change.
